GREAT article just a few questions I’m doing the 5:2 diet and exercising on my fasting days between 1-2 hours plus exercise on other days as well. Hey Tom, congrats on the weight loss so far! As long as you remain in a calorie deficit, the beer gut will eventually disappear. Fat will come off different parts of your body at different rates, so don’t get discouraged! it’s down to your particular body, and how it likes to store fat.

(Me-44, my wife-39, my mother in law, 67) I have restricted myself to 1000 calories a day, high protein, low carb, weight training and at least 40 minutes a day on the treadmill.
