Saturated fat is bad??? Come on. What century are you living in?! Uh…you might need the saturated fat for things like hormone production and cellular integrity, no? You have seen the recent studies debunking the idiotic myth that saturated fat is bad for us, correct?
If this is you, not to worry! With a little education and direction, you can have the abs that will have other people wondering what you do to look so good in your tight clothes and midriff revealing shirts.
Do not try to lose weight too rapidly. Crash diets and diet pills that promise weight loss are usually bad for you and actually don’t help keep the weight off in the long run. Resist the urge to take the “easy” way out and instead stick with a healthier lifestyle. This way you lose the weight and improve your health, helping you keep the weight off in a way that won’t harm you in the long run.
The one thing that everyone tries to avoid but so many can’t get rid of. Getting rid of your belly fat is as easy as 1 2 3. Unfortunately a lot of people don’t want to put in the work to get there. Remember this fat didn’t come on over night. This belly fat is months or even years of overeating and lack of exercise. So you to think that it will come off over night is ridiculous. Step one is changing your lifestyle. Meaning that you have to change your eating habits and start exercising on a regular basis. The simple form to this is that you have to burn more than you are eating in a day. Simply if you burn 2000 calories a day and eat 1500 calories a day you will be in a 500 calorie deficit. Now what this means is you will lose 1 pound of fat per week. Here is the problem most people don’t even track what they eat not to mention what they burn. So start logging your food so you know where you are at so you know what you need to do at home or at your gym. Holding yourself accountable to these simple goals will go very far.
The especially pernicious problem with visceral fat is that it releases cytokines, which can greatly increase the chance of cardiovascular (heart) disease, boost your chances of acquiring diabetes, raise your blood pressure and bad (LDL) cholesterol, and more. In other words, some potentially serious side effects.
This fat tends to release toxins that affect how your body operates. It will also cause you to lose sensitivity to insulin, which is an important hormone that helps your body to burn energy. If you have a bulge in your belly this is a wake-up call to trim down your midsection so that you can improve your health and increase your life expectancy. However, figuring out how to do this can be more difficult than you might think. That is why the Lean Belly Breakthrough is such a lifesaver, as it brings together all of the science of belly fat loss and helps you to make changes to your lifestyle that will transform your health.
Lie on your back with knees bent to 90-degree angles. Straighten your arms by your sides, and lengthen your fingertips. Press the backs of your shoulders against a mat, and slide them down away from your ears. Focusing on the deep waist muscles, inhale and slowly move your knees to the right, then exhale and return to starting position. Repeat on the left; that’s 1 rep. Do 5–8 reps.
Some research even suggests that surgery to remove subcutaneous fat will not improve health, and may even be a risk factor for more visceral fat—particularly if surgery is not accompanied by healthful lifestyle changes.
Start out with high-intensity intervals that last for 30 seconds, then rest (by or doing low-intensity exercise, not by standing still) for a minute. Eventually you’ll want to do your high-intensity training for longer periods (try 60 to 90 seconds) and decrease your rest periods to a 1:1 ratio.
Hi Mike. I really like all your articles. Thank you! I’m planning to follow your routine and take the 3 supplements you recommended. However, I’m so confused about the dosage. I read from the labels that the serving size is 4 capsules for both forge and phoenix. According to your routine, that would be 8 capsules for each supplement per day. Isn’t it too much? I’m 180 lbs btw. I’d appreciate if you could give me some pointers. All the best!
High-protein breakfasts, especially ones that include eggs, have been linked to weight loss, reducing belly fat in the process. Add eggs to salads, stir-frys, and sautés, or pair them with 100% whole-grain toast and veggies for a hearty breakfast.
All of these take a toll on your metabolism and ability to control levels of body fat. If you’re up against large amounts of stress in your life (from work, lack of sleep, relationships, finances, etc.), studies show you can greatly benefit from carving out more time in your busy stress relievers like regular exercise, meditation, spending time outdoors and keeping up with fun hobbies.
